Minister Search Committee News/Updates

For in-depth info on the minister search visit the Minister Search Info page.
Phase 2 Identification – The search committee has completed a draft of the “ideal candidate profile” and it is being reviewed by the eldership. Once the profile is approved, we will be finalizing our network of recommenders who will review our candidate profile and identify qualified candidates to share with the committee. We are getting closer to identifying potential candidates!
Prayer – Please be involved in our prayer campaign. Pray for God to guide us to the man he has prepared for Mesa. Also, pray for our congregation as we refocus on three key areas that were identified through the survey results: Discipleship, Involvement and Relationships. If you missed the presentation of the survey data highlights, please contact the office and they will send you a link to the recorded video.

Congregational Update

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Based upon declining covid-19 trends, we will make masks optional, but if you are at risk you may still want to wear one for our assemblies. Disposable face masks and hand sanitizer is available in the foyer, individual communion portions will still be used at this time.

Romans 12:10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Galatians 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 2 Timothy 1:7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Let’s rejoice together in this opportunity to make a step toward more normal times and please express patience to those who still need to practice caution in this matter. Thank you for your kind spirits,

The Mesa Elders
